Seeing as the weather was so good that weekend in The Lake District, we decided to return the day after doing Skiddaw to tackle Blencathra Via Sharp Edge! Another insane day in the Lakes! What a route Sharp Edge is! It's pretty exposed which gives it some great character but definitely not for the faint hearted! but certainly offers some amazing views back down to Scales Tarn!

We began to scramble across the rocks of Sharp Edge making our way towards the optional rock climb at the end - which we decided to rake.

Not even half an hour later and we were laying back on the summit having lunch in the sun once again! So grateful to have had such amazing conditions two days on the run! Could not have asked for any better!

We opted to take what I can only describe as a sheep's path down. Was great fun but very sketchy and rough on the knees but it definitely saved us some time.. I think? Ahh, oh well no complaints here!
